Monday MORNING 30 December 9:00am-12:00pm - Art Workshop - Acrylic on canvas - Deer in Knole
We will spend the MORNING of Monday 30 Dec from 9:00-12:00 painting this gorgeous Deer in Knole on canvas, starting with a charcoal sketch and finishing with acrylic paint on canvas, and varnish. We take it one step at a time and carefully observe, sometimes splitting the canvas into 16 squares to help with proportion and perspective.
Lots of guidance and fun. Three hours go by in a wink!!
All materials and aprons will be provided. Plenty of movement breaks between creating our masterpieces.
Children will come home with a charcoal/pastel sketch and a final piece on canvas. We will try our best to dry the final piece, so we can add a layer of varnish over the final layer of acrylic paint.
Suitable for children aged 5-12 years (as a guide).
Bring with a water bottle (and a nut free snack) if you would like to. Fruit and plain biscuits will be available.
Max of 9 children per workshop.
Workshop held at 9 Bosville Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 3JD.PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING A LARGE LIDL/ALDI LIFELONG BAG to transport paintings home afterward - this will ensure that cars stay clean.
